Do you charge by the hour or by the job?

Both, depending on the work. Straightforward tasks like TV mounting or fixture installation are usually quoted as a flat project rate. For multi-item honey-do lists or maintenance visits we may charge an hourly rate. We'll tell you upfront which applies and why.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Deck'd Out carries general liability insurance and operates within the scope Florida allows handymen to perform without a specialty contractor license. If your project requires a licensed electrician, plumber, or structural contractor, we'll tell you honestly before you schedule a service call.

Do I need to be home during the work?

For most jobs, yes — we prefer you or a trusted adult to be present when we arrive to walk through the work and confirm the scope. For repeat clients or specific situations we can discuss alternatives.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Navarre, Milton, Pace, and communities throughout Escambia County and Santa Rosa County in Florida, as well as Baldwin County, Alabama — including Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, Foley, and Daphne.

What kinds of work are outside your scope?

We don't do full electrical panel work, plumbing rerouting, HVAC installation, load-bearing structural changes, or work requiring a specialty contractor license in Florida. We're upfront about this — if a job is out of scope, we'll tell you before you waste a service call.
